The website https://ayubooking.com (hereinafter — the “Site”) uses cookies and similar technologies to make the experience as convenient as possible for users (hereinafter — “Users”): to provide personalised information, to remember preferences regarding marketing and Site content, and to help the User find the information they need. By using this site you confirm your consent to the use of cookies in accordance with this agreement regarding this type of file. If you do not agree to our use of such files, you should adjust your browser settings accordingly or stop using the Site.
The following agreement concerns the Site’s rules regarding personal information provided to the Site administration by Users.
1. Introduction
This agreement concerns the Site’s use of information received from Users of the Site. This document also contains information about cookies, about the use of cookies by the Site and by third parties, and about how you can refuse such files.
2. Information for Users
When you view any page of the Site, your computer loads the page itself and also a small text file called a cookie. Many websites and mobile applications use such files, because cookies make a number of useful things possible. For example, thanks to these files site owners can determine whether a particular computer or smartphone (and, probably, its User) has been on the site before. This happens on a repeat visit, by checking the user’s computer for a cookie left from a previous visit.
The information we obtain through cookies helps us to provide our services in the way most convenient for you, and can also help us form a picture of our readers. For example: if you visited a particular section of the Site, next time we can learn this from the cookie and highlight articles from that section during your subsequent visits.
3. About cookies
A cookie is a small amount of data, often containing a unique random identifier, sent to your browser by the site’s computer and stored on your computer’s hard drive or in your smartphone’s browser folders. Every site can send its own cookies to your computer or smartphone if your browser settings allow it. At the same time (to keep your data private) your browser gives sites access only to your own cookies and does not allow them to use the same kind of cookies left by other sites.
Cookies store information about your preferences on the internet. Users can configure their computers to accept all cookies automatically, to warn them each time a site tries to write its cookie to the user’s hard drive, or not to accept any cookies at all. The last option means that some personal services cannot be provided to users, and that users who choose such settings will not be able to obtain full access to all sections of the Site.
Every browser is different, so refer to your browser’s Help function to find out how to configure the handling of cookies.
If you have set your computer to refuse cookies entirely, you can still visit the Site anonymously, until you wish to use one of the site’s services.
Cookies are widely used by owners of websites and mobile applications to make sites work or to improve their performance, and also to obtain analytics information.
The Site and its service providers may use various types of cookies on their web resources:
- Strictly necessary cookies. These cookies are needed for the site to work correctly; they allow Users to move around the Site and use its features. These files do not identify Users as individuals. If a User does not agree to the use of this type of file, this may affect the performance of the Site or its components.
- Performance, efficiency and analytics cookies. These files help us understand how Users interact with the Site by providing information about the areas they have visited and the amount of time they have spent on the Site; these files also reveal problems with the web resource, for example error messages. This helps to improve the operation of the site. Analytics cookies also help us measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and optimise the content of the Site for those who have shown interest in our advertising. By themselves, these files do not identify you. The case where an analytics identifier is linked to you personally is described in section 6.
- Functional cookies. These cookies serve to recognise Users returning to the Site. They make it possible to tailor the content of the Site to individual Users. If a User blocks this type of file, this may affect the performance and functionality of the website and may limit access to content on the site.
- Advertising cookies. These files record information about user activity on the internet, including visits to sites and pages, as well as data about links and advertisements that Users chose to view. One purpose is to display on websites the content most closely aligned with the User. Another purpose is to make it possible to provide advertising or other information more precisely matched to the User’s interests.
4. Collection and use of information
Cookies are used for various purposes, including to:
- Make it easier for us and for third parties to obtain information about Users’ visits to the Site.
- Analyse information about Users’ page visits in order to improve the Site.
- Provide advertising, messages and content created by us and by third parties, on this site and on the sites of other parties, taking the User’s interests into account.
- Help the User obtain the information they need.
- Determine the number of visitors and how they use our Site — to improve the site’s effectiveness and to better understand the interests of its audience.
5. Cookie retention period
Some cookies are active from the moment you enter the site until the end of that particular browser session. When the browser is closed these files are no longer needed and are deleted automatically. Such cookies are called “session” cookies.
Some cookies are stored on the device between browser sessions — they are not deleted when the browser is closed. Such cookies are called “persistent”. The retention period of persistent cookies on a device differs from cookie to cookie. We and other companies use persistent cookies for various purposes: for example, to determine how often you visit our sites or how often you return to them, how the pattern of Site use changes over time, and to assess the effectiveness of advertising.
We and third parties may use cookies to learn when you visit the Site and how you interact with content. On the basis of cookies, aggregated and other information not connected with the identification of individual users may be collected and used (for example, about the operating system, browser version and the URL from which the visit to this page was made, including from an email or an advertisement) — thanks to this we can offer you broader possibilities and analyse site visit paths. This technology makes it possible to count the number of users who visited a particular section by following a link from a specific banner outside this site, from a text link or from images included in a mailing. In addition, it serves as a tool for collecting aggregated statistics about the use of the Site for analytical research and helps us optimise our Site and offer advertising in line with your interests, as described in detail below.
6. Use of web tracking and cookies
We use the Yandex Metrica web analytics service to understand how many people come to the Site, which sources they come from and which sections they use. The data is transferred to Yandex — it acts as a third party and processes the data under its own rules, which are linked below.
Metrica writes cookies containing a random visitor identifier to your browser and processes technical data: IP address, device and browser type, the address of the referring page, the pages viewed and clicks. Using this identifier, Metrica links your visits to one another — that is, a history of visits to the Site is kept. Your name, telephone number and email address are not stored in the cookies themselves.
Recording of page actions (Webvisor) is disabled: mouse movements, scrolling and the contents of form fields are not recorded.
When Metrica data is linked to you personally
If you submit an enquiry through the Site, a Metrica identifier is added to your contact details — this is how we see which source the enquiry came from. In this case the statistics are no longer anonymised: they are linked to you as a specific individual. If you have not submitted an enquiry, no such link arises.
You can block cookies in your browser settings — see section 3; Metrica will then be unable to link your visits to one another.
You can read more about Yandex Metrica cookies on the page https://yandex.com/support/metrica/general/cookie-usage.html.
7. Third-party cookies
Third-party cookies in embedded content
Please note: as you may notice, when you visit some pages of our websites, cookies are created that do not belong to the Site. When you visit a page with content embedded from, for example, YouTube or Vimeo, these service providers may create their own cookies in your browser. The Site does not control the use of these cookies and cannot access them, because of the way cookies work — only the party that originally created them has access. Look for more detailed information about these cookies on the third parties’ websites.
Web beacons
We use web analytics services, for example Yandex Metrica, which help us understand how people use our websites and thereby ensure their relevance, usability and up-to-date content. These services use data collection technologies such as web beacons. Web beacons are small electronic images that place cookies, count the number of visits and assess usage indicators and the effectiveness of website use. In turn, this information helps us understand what information interests visitors to our sites and provide individualised content on our websites. The web beacons themselves do not contain your name or contact details.
The information is used for statistical purposes; the case where it is linked to you personally is described in section 6. By themselves, web analytics data and cookies do not contain your name or email address. The exception is described in section 6: when you submit an enquiry, the analytics identifier reaches us together with your contact details.
8. Managing cookies
Our Site can also be used without cookies. You can disable the storage of cookies, restrict their creation to particular websites, or set your browser to notify you when cookies are sent. You can also delete cookies from your PC’s hard drive at any time (file: “cookies”). Please note: in that case the display of pages and the guidance on using the sites will be limited.
Most browsers allow you to control most cookies to some degree through the browser settings.
Not all visitors to our site use web browsers. For example, some users access websites from mobile devices. In that case, disabling cookies or changing web browser settings will probably not be possible.
Most internet browsers are initially set to accept cookies automatically. A User can change the settings so that the browser blocks cookies or warns when files of this type are about to be sent to the device. There are several ways to manage cookies. Please refer to your browser’s instructions to learn more about how to adjust or change browser settings.
Disabling some of the specified types of cookies may make it impossible to use certain sections or functions of the Services.
9. Updates to the Cookie Policy
Changes and/or additions may be made to the Policy from time to time. If changes are made to the Policy, the updated version of the Policy will be published on the internet at: https://ayubooking.com/en/cookie-policy/; the Site administration will not inform Site users of such changes by sending them any special notifications. Users are advised to review this page regularly in order to have up-to-date information.
